Welcome to a curated page dedicated to my art. I regularly post entries on this blog showcasing recently created pieces of my art and you can scroll through just these art posts by selecting ‘Art’ from the top menu bar of this site or by following this direct link: Blog Posts About My Art.
You can also see most of my artwork, including my latest pieces as soon as they have been complete on my various @timohareart social media accounts – Bluesky – Facebook – Instagram – Threads – X. Note that I mainly post my art on my Instagram account (which automatically feeds content to my Facebook and Threads accounts) and less so on Bluesky and X (but I do generally post my art on my main Bluesky account: @timohare.
I have also recently begun to sell my art online via my Etsy Shop.
I started painting in April 2024 having hardly touched a paint brush, other than for decorating purposes, since being in secondary school art lessons (aged 13, some 45 years previously). I soon began to establish my own style, producing mostly small, fairly loose, ink and watercolour pictures of landscapes, landmarks and other buildings. I like to work quite quickly – a finished picture typically takes me 30-40 minutes. I’m completely self-taught, and learning by experimentation all the time. It has been a wonderfully enjoyable process of self-discovery, with the added bonus that my pictures seem to bring enjoyment to those that see them!
I like to paint pictures of ‘special places’ to use on birthday cards or as presents for family and friends, and would be very happy to produce similar pieces to commission. If there is a special place that you would like me to paint, drop me a message and I will get back to you to discuss ideas (you can use the contact form on the About page of this site, or you can email me directly at timohareart[dot]gmail[dot]com).
As noted above, photographs of most of my work, can be found on my Instagram account, but here is a selection of some recent pictures to provide a quick look of the kind of pieces that I have been producing.
